Mooring Dampers:

Rubber Damper:

Often made of rubber or elastomer, this damper is placed directly on the chain or mooring line. It acts like a spring that absorbs the energy of the movements, thus reducing the shocks on the anchor and the boat's attachment points.

Rope or Elastic Strap Damper:

This type of damper is a flexible rope or strap that allows some elasticity, reducing the sudden forces acting on the boat while at anchor.

Stainless Steel Spring Damper:

Stainless steel spring dampers are resistant to marine corrosion and provide an elastic action similar to rubber. This type is robust and can be used with heavier boats.

Friction Damper:

This type uses mechanical friction systems that absorb shocks progressively, avoiding jerks on the mooring.
